LOOK at the land here! How beautiful everything is! Look at the grass and the trees, the flowers and all the animals. Can you choose the elephant and the lions?
How was this beautiful garden born? Well, let's see how God prepared the earth for us.
First, God made green grass to cover the earth. And he made all kinds of little plants and bushes and trees. These things that grow help to beautify the land. But they do more than that. Many of them also give us food that tastes great.
Later God made fish to swim in the water and birds to fly in the sky. He made dogs, cats, and horses; big animals and small animals. What animals live near your house? Shouldn't we be glad that God has done all these things for us?
Finally, God made a part of the earth a very special place. He called this place the Garden of Eden. It was just perfect. Everything was beautiful. And God wanted the whole earth to be like this beautiful garden that he had made.
